Miracles Happened This Week

Okay this may be a little fast, I have to go and buy some things because some people don't really plan ahead well. So we are going to go do some stuff quickly— and so ya this should a be a little fast!

So questions!

What type of service do you generally do?
We are working hard to help a guy build a house. Next week I will send you a picture of him — he is awesome and named Kike or Enrique!

Is your apartment finally warm?
The pension is a little warmer so I can sleep in shorts at least with all my blankets and stuff and I'm okay!

Apostate? Does that mean your district is not following the rules—or just that you guys like to have a little fun?
Like the district is really fun, but there is one elder who has a really, really rough past like he has done bad things and I have no doubt about it. He swears a lot, like a ton, in both languages and it rubs off on the rest of them… so it is a little like that. Then when we are together like the other day we just stay up talking for way too long — its fine, but it’s hard when I'm trying hard to not do that stuff! I mean I'm just doing what I can to not participate too much!

How is Aldana? Did you ask the QUESTION?
Aldana is good, but I don’t think she is ready. Her boyfriend and her just barely started living together, and now they are not ready to marry or separate so I can’t baptize her. So thats rough, but miracles happened this week!

Monday we went and talked to Franco and Diego, it was awesome, but nothing super special. We just chatted and talked about lesson one with them and their brother Jose who really does have a lot of interest!

Tuesday we went and did service with Kike, it was way fun making cement and laying bricks! ;O

Wednesday we just worked I don’t remember anything specific from this day, so I mean I guess it was good, but I'm not positive, but I think it was good! Oh, we had a meeting with President that lasted all day. It was all about putting baptismal dates!

Thursday we went and taught the Avila family…this is the family with seven daughters. We taught all about baptism and it was incredible! At the end I invited them again to get baptized and they said like “What are the requirements?” and I told them that he had to stop smoking and they had to get married... So that was rough because he didn't want to get married. I looked at him and asked "Can you see yourself happy with anyone else besides your woman? Better yet can you see yourself happy with any women who are not the eight that you have in your family right now? He told me no. Then I asked if he wanted them forever or until death do them part? He said forever, and I said the only way was through marriage now, and baptism, and then a sealing in the temple. He said yes and the date is for my last Saturday in the mission. Best day ever!

Friday and Saturday we worked…hard nothing special.

Sunday we got invited to an awesome asado, but nothing really work wise. I had lamb meet for the first time and there is nothing better! I love lamb so much… it was so good! ;)
Ask me about the asado next week I want to explain it!

I love you a ton, but need to go!
Be safe!

Love, Jayson
